New clients vs. old clients

Why acquiring new clients over & over again is not a good move for your business!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Wait, what?⠀⠀⠀⠀

Yes, it is true, but still a mistake many business owners make. Especially when you’re, like I am as well, a solopreneur.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I started out in my business as a freelancer, I often worried about where my next clients would come from and if they didn’t, how would I pay my bills?

My first mistake was not getting any help from a coach or mentor, but it was not only me starting to work with a coach, that changed my game – it was a another shift I made in my business. I stopped acquiring new clients!

Now, I do not say, just trust, believe & wait until the next is coming. What I do say though, focus on your existing clients…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They are the ones who already invested in you, at least one time & they are the ones who are very likely to invest again, if you deliver an amazing product or service.

Because once you have some clients, it takes a lot less effort & money to maintain a great relationship than finding new clients to work with.
